To all Blaze players, staff and parents,
This week we will continue with defensive work, live bullpens and pitching fundamentals including mental work. Pitchers are up to 60 pitches per live bullpen sessions with all off speed pitches included. Keep working hard in preparation for the upcoming season. If you are unable to make practice due to illness, homework, etc. please inform the staff two hours prior to practice sessions beginning, not 10 minutes, be responsible.
This week shows potential for colder weather and possible snow, in that case be prepared for any workout schedule adjustments.
The “Calendar” fundraiser has been completed with a 47% participation level in which only 7 players completed their calendar. Those who completed their fundraiser per direction, thank you. This is disappointing as previous emails stated, “This is a club wide effort in which all players need to participate”, we had more than 50% of the players give zero effort in the fundraiser.
To follow up the previous paragraph, tournaments, league games, uniforms and other gear have been ordered for the upcoming season. Player’s dues must be up to date as well as the calendar completed prior to equipment handout, attending practices, scrimmages, games or other activities. If you need up to date balances, you can contact me via email.
Reminder, please be heads up for possible schedule adjustments due to any inclement weather issues we may encounter during the next two weeks, info will be sent out ASAP when needed. Please help pass the word when needed.
