To all Blaze players, staff and parents,
Thanks to everyone for another great week of practice sessions as players’ skills continue getting better with every workout. This week will be our last week of scheduled team and Catchers camp workouts as Christmas break begins December 21st and concludes January 3rd. We will continue our regular workouts starting tomorrow with catcher’s camp from 6-8:00 PM with report time of 5:45 PM, followed by team workouts on Tuesday and Saturday. This Saturday December 20th, we will begin practice at 10:00 AM instead of 11:00 AM ending at 1:00 PM.
There will be Open Yards on Tuesday’s December 23rd and 30th from 2:30-4:30 PM and Saturday’s December 27th and January 3rd 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for those interested.
Winter Pitching Camp still has openings for those who wish to attend the camp with info on the website at www.northwestblaze.org. Washington Nationals pitcher Lucas Knowles will be a guest instructor adding more insight in the pitching department along with former Blaze and current Lesley University pitcher Payton Albin who has just been added to the coaching roster. This is a great opportunity for players who have the desire to play at the highest level to work one on one with a current professional baseball player, see the work ethic that goes into being a pro, ask questions and enjoy learning. There are still openings to attend the camp with info on the website at www.northwestblaze.org.
The “Calendar” fundraiser is underway at this time, so fill out as many calendars as you can and win some great prizes!
