To all Blaze players, staff and parents,
Great job to everyone over the past six weeks as we approach Thanksgiving week we will be off all week with no organized team workouts or Blaze catcher’s camp.
I will have an “Open Yard” on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM for players to come in and take some swings, etc.
Blaze Catchers camp will continue Monday December 1st from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with report time of 5:45 PM, bring all catcher’s gear along with tennis shoes. This is a great time to work on your catching skills or to learn another position.
Both Blaze clothing options are up on the website under the “Team Swag” tab. In order to get Blaze clothing delivered by Christmas, I have been informed the deadline to receive gear ontime is November 30th.
Winter Pitching Camp still has openings for those who wish to attend the camp with info on the website at www.northwestblaze.org. Reminder, Washington Nationals pitcher Lucas Knowles will be a guest instructor adding more insight in the pitching department. This is a great opportunity for players who have the desire to play at the highest level to work one on one with a current professional baseball player, see the work ethic that goes into being a pro, ask questions and enjoy learning. There are still openings to attend the camp with info on the website at www.northwestblaze.org.
The “Calendar” fundraiser is underway at this time and with Thanksgiving week off this gives players the free time to get more sponsors, so fill out as many calendars as you can and win some great prizes!
