To all Blaze players, staff and parents,
Great job last week finishing our team defensive work as we move into player positional work for the next four weekday sessions. Pitching fundamentals and mental practices will continue with live bullpens continuing on Saturdays. Players will be at 50 pitches starting this Saturday with our goal of 60 when tryouts begin at the end of February.
If you are unable to make practice due to illness, homework, etc. please inform the staff two hours prior to practice sessions beginning, not 10 minutes, be responsible. Those who have it is greatly appreciated.
The “Calendar” fundraiser will end this coming weekend with everyone needing to bring in their filled out calendars anytime this week as you can and win some great prizes! All monies, either check or cash can be brought in with the calendar sheet. If you are using VENMO please mention the player’s name in the “what’s it for” box so your player gets credit. This is a club wide effort in which all players need to participate. If you require assistance you can contact Tania Ostrander via email at tania.ostrander@gmail.com.
The 2026 Blaze Superbowl squares 50/50 event is up and running. This is a fun event for anyone to enter with a chance to win every quarter. We will add sheets as they fill up, so don’t delay entering.
